Wild and organic Silver Fir is carefully collected from an organically certified nature preserve. It is distilled at low temperatures to preserve its vitality and fresh aroma.

It has a very intense yet soft, woody-balsamic, sweet coniferous aroma with a vibrant, robust character and great tenacity. Fir has grounding and refreshing qualities and is one we highly recommend for use in diffusers to purify the environment in enclosed spaces and to help ward off illnesses that circulate in the winter months.

Coniferous trees in general - Fir, Pine, Spruce - are the guardian trees of our planet with their specific purifying, cleansing constituents, such as alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, terpinolene, and terpinene-4-ol found in Fir essential oil. In Japan, coniferous forests are regarded as special places - even considered sacred - for the effect they have on wellbeing, where 'forest bathing' is recognized as a form of relaxation.

Safety Considerations: Skin sensitization if oxidized; old or oxidized oils should be avoided. Dilute before using. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.
