OVERVIEW

Bright, lemony, and energizing, May Chang is most commonly known for its usefulness in dealing with skin problems. May Chang has uplifting properties, and it has a strong effect on promoting mental and physical well-being.

Although Litsea Cubeba (also known as May Chang) is an oil that has had little popularity in the modern aromatherapy or natural perfumery worlds, after sampling this very fine oil, we could not let this aromatic delight go unnoticed - we have to extol its beauty. Our organic Litsea Cubeba has a powerful, clean, fresh, sweet-green, lemon-like aroma with light woody-floral undertones - and the aroma lasts for more than an amazing 36 hours on a scent strip with a soft, uniform sweet-fruity dry down.

Litsea Cubeba essential oil is characterized by its high citral content (up to 85%) which accounts for its dominant lemony aroma. It was first distilled in the early 1950s from little berries (fruits) that grow on small tropical evergreen trees native to China, Indonesia and other parts of eastern Asia.

Litsea Cubeba is delightful for lifting and soothing the spirits. It works wonders in skin care, as well as for the digestive, immune and nervous systems, and more.
