Orange Essence Oil is distinct from our other Orange oils in that it is distilled from the juice of Sweet Oranges, rather than expressed from the peels. The aroma is intensely pleasing and very much like that of freshly squeezed orange juice. We recommend Orange Essence Oil when you would like a unique fresh citrus note.

Aromatic Profile: Deep, rich, sweet-tart aroma unlike any other orange aromas, yet somewhat similar to, but lighter and tarter than our Blood Orange. A unique top note for natural perfumery.

Blending Suggestions: Add drop by drop to your blends until the desired effect is achieved.

Blends Well With: Angelica, Caraway, Cinnamon, Cistus, Clary Sage,Clove, Coriander, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Jasmine,Juniper, Labdanum, Lavandin, Lavender, Lemon, Myrrh, Neroli, Oakmoss,Petitgrain, Rose, Rosemary, Sage, Tagetes, Vanilla, Violet Leaf, Ylang Ylang. We also recommend blending the different types of Orange oils we carry to create a unique, complex Orange accord.

Safety Considerations: Dilute before using. According to the authors of Essential Oil Safety, essential oils obtained from Citrus sinensis do not contain any compounds responsible for photosensitization, however we suggest that for those who have fair or sensitive skin to use this oil with caution. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.
